  Quintessential TOS right here!

The slowest hand to hand fight in recorded history. It might be quintessential TOS, but wow, that rubber suit.

Thanks to my son's fascination with Mythbusters I knew how will it end. And geez, that was far-fetched...

Unfortunately, what is supposed to be an iconic episode aged very badly. The pacing was long and tedious. Everything was telegraphed way ahead so there was no good twist. And it offered the worst fist fight in the history of television. Reptiles are supposed to be very quick creatures. And the Gorn costume!... OMFG! Bad, bad, bad! I wouldn't even wear it for Halloween!

Again, the Enterprise falls at the mercy of a species of superior and omnipotent beings who can do whatever they want.

The worst TOS episode in this Order so far.
